I have known Premkumar since he was a young boy. He exhibited
his musical talents at a very early age. I had observed him
humming popular tunes while doing his Math in which subject he
excelled.

Prem took to music as his second career, when he began
‘mixing’ in 1998. He was fond of listening to remixes and
decided that he could do this with greater style, which would
please anybody. As an amateur composer his standard was
amazing. His friends suggested that he goes public. And public
he went.

|
DjPrem, by now was a professional. He opened a web site
djprem.com and his early net release mixes were acclaimed
great in many parts of the world. On the advise of his friends
he designed his own web site and took a great step forward.

|
DjPrem’s first album became popular in Canada and the U.K.
This album carried his own label as Dj Prem Production "DPP"
that he created. Sub-contracts for two albums were offered and
many followed these later.
He also brought life to parties by being a DJ in them.

The new Remixer, now a household name, made numerous remixes
for stage shows. The next album by DjPrem, took the music
world by storm. This reached a number of countries including
Canada, the U.K., Switzerland, France, Sri Lanka, Singapore
and Malaysia. A 24-hour radio station invited him to produce
weekly remix programs.

The year 2004 became a great one for DjPrem when an
organization in London, U.K., proclaimed him as a talented
Remixer and conferred upon him the title of Remix King.

|
The well known distributing company Tamilini International,
sought DjPrem’s help and he supplied his new albums to it.
DjPrem’s remixes and videos became very popular in
nightclubs in the Far East. Some were special Tamil dance-hall
mixes for a well-known club in Singapore. Under his own label
again DjPrem made his third release, which captivated music
lovers all over the world.

rule in the Remix world.
